A narrative choice in the Mutant Cartel World that involves the fusing of Mutant Hounds and Mutant Apes (or Mutant Cartel Oaths as a substitute) to produce a Fused Hound. For some, the motive is to cure Serum Sickness. For others, it’s a path to power.

There are three production phases to Fusing that accompany the story development.

Phase One: Burn - The opportunity to burn your Mutant Hound(s) for Fusing Materials.

Phase Two: Fusing - the opportunity to consume (burn) your Fusing Materials in a ritual exchange for a Fused Hound (that will arrive unrevealed).

Phase Three: Reveal - the Fused Hounds come to life.

Phase One begins on Wednesday, Aug 23rd, 2023.

Holders of Novel Labs assets can participate in the following three Tiers:

Tier One: Those who hold a VIP Mutant Cartel Oath will have 24-hour advanced access with no cap on Mutant Hounds burnt per person.

Tier Two: Those who hold a Pledge Mutant Cartel Oath will have 24-hour access with no cap on Mutant Hounds burnt per person following the VIP round.

Tier Three: All Mutant Hound holders will have open access with no cap on Mutant Hounds burnt per person.

Until all 5,000 Mutant Hounds are burned.

5,000 in total can be burned, which will eventually result in the creation of 2,500 Fused Hounds.

One Mutant Hound will return one Mutant Hound Fusing Material NFT that can be consumed as a part of pair to create a Fused Hound.

No, the Mutant Hound you burn will not have an effect on the Fusing Material you receive.

For each Mutant Hound you burn, you can receive one of four regular Fusing Materials: Hound Organs, Bottled Soul, Hacked DNA, and Dark Serum. All VIP Mutant Cartel Oath holders will receive access to an exclusive VIP Fusing Material.

Upon each burned Mutant Hound, the corresponding Fusing Material that is minted will be distributed until 1,250 of each regular Fusing Material are minted. Only VIP Mutant Cartel Oath holders will gain access to the VIP Material.

There can be a total of 1,250 total for the four regular Fusing Materials, creating 5,000 total Fusing Materials. There can be a total of 328 VIP Fusing Materials.

Yes, people can exchange Fusing Materials for the Fusing ritual they desire and sell Fusing Materials if they can't or don’t want to participate in Fusing.

With a Mutant Cartel Oath, MAYC, or BAYC in your wallet, specific Fusing Material pairs can be consumed (burned) to produce a Fused Hound.

There are five possible Fusions: Unbreakable Bond, Biochemical Augmentation, Mechanical Rebirth, Dark Ritual and The Awakening.

For the Fusing event, there can be a maximum of 625 for each of the four regular Fused Hound types, and a maximum of 328 for the VIP Fused Hound type.
