How do I get a Bitcoin wallet?

How do I load up BTC in my wallet?
The most common way is to purchase BTC through a FIAT onramp such as Kraken or Coinbase and transfer it into your wallet. You could also convert your ETH to BTC directly in the Magic Eden wallet.
Are there gas fees for minting Bitcoin NFTs?
Yes, as with any blockchain, transaction fees are required when transacting.
Can I transfer my Bitcoin NFTs from a hot wallet to a vault?
So long as you are careful and use a wallet with Ordinal features built in you are able to transfer Ordinals between wallets. It’s recommended that you choose your Vault wallet as the destination for an Ordinal mint and pay with a hot wallet to limit any potential for errors.

We inscribe, you mint.
How can I earn access to mint an MH//Inscription?
There are two ways to earn access to mint:
Own a Mutant Hound - Those who own a Hound are able to mint their Ordinal equivalent.
Register for the mint - Certain collections will be given access to register for mint. Once approved, you’ll be able to mint during the mint phase based on the mint tier you earn - VIP, Preferred, or Public.

Is there any special treatment for Ethereum Mega Hound holders?
Mega Hound holders will receive their MH Inscription for free.
Mega Hound Collar holders will receive an Ordinals version that will be re-inscribed after its associated ETH Mega Hound is revealed.
Do I get the same traits from my Hound in my Ordinal mint?
Most Face, Form, Head, and Mouth traits are available and will be present on your MH//Inscription. However, some traits are represented differently to better fit the pixel format. Torso traits are not included in the MHI collection.
Do I get advanced access to mint an Ordinal if I am a VIP Oath holder?
Yes. VIPs are in Tier 1 and will be the first given access to mint. For more information visit this article.

How will you be structuring the MH//Inscriptions collection?
We will be following the Parent/Child structure with a collection sat sitting as the parent to all MH//Inscriptions. Each rarity tier will be inscribed on various rarity sats. For more information read this article.
Are there any security measures to take with Ordinals?
Because Ordinals are inscribed on BTC it’s possible to accidentally transact with them, using them to pay transaction fees or sending them when transferring BTC. Thankfully the wallets we support have protections against this built in. Your inscriptions will need to be minted to an Ordinal only address.

Verification is an optional step to prepare you for the mint. In this phase you’re able to combine ETH and BTC wallets to determine your total max, set your destination Ordinal wallet, and calculate the total BTC you will need to mint.

Yes, you will be able to change the total you wish to mint during verification.

There are new Megas and Legendaries in the MH//Inscriptions collection. These will be distributed randomly to those who mint in the VIP tier and later.

You will receive a random MH//Inscription with random traits.
If I own a Hound, is my mint guaranteed?
Mutant Hounds minting their Inscription twin will be given first access to mint and a guaranteed window to secure their inscription.
Are all VIP Tier collection holders that registered guaranteed to mint?
The only tier with guaranteed mints is Mutant Hounds minting their Inscription Twins. All other phases will be first come first served and are not guaranteed.
Are all Partner Tier WL spots guaranteed to mint?

Genesis Oaths were the first generation of membership to the Mutant Cartel that were retired on June 27, 2023.
